10 year old needs research help

Hi Star Wars Fans-

My 10 year old son is a HUGE Star Wars Fan.

He is doing a research project on Star Wars, the Force Powers Effects (lightning, jumping, speed, pushing, pulling, grasping).

What do they do to get the Force Powers during the movie?

How do they show lightning hitting the other person?

How do they jump so high?

Does anyone have any information that could help him with his research?

Thank you all so much!

Hey, I have a little brother just about his age and he just did a similar project a little while ago about dinosaurs. Anways, here are the answers to your questions:

What do they do to get the Force Powers during the movie?

The Jedi train hard to learn to master each Force power, but you don’t actually see them training in the movies. Once they’ve trained enough to master the Force powers, they can use them at any time by just concentrating.

How do they show lightning hitting the other person?

This is done through special effects. First they film the scene without anything lightning. After that they edit the scene with lots of computer software to make it look and sound like there’s lightning there. What you see at the end is the scene after it has been edited through computers. The company that does this is called “Industrial Light and Magic”, and is one of the companies belonging to the creator of Star Wars, Mr. George Lucas.

How do they jump so high?
The Force gives a boost of power into their feet which pushes them off the ground as they jump, which makes them jump as high as you see in the movie.

If you want all the infomation you would ever need about Star Wars, go to this site and search for whatever you want:

Good luck!
