The problem is that nobody outside of the hardcore Star Wars fans knows what a Holocron is. Everybody knows Darth Vader and Chewie, and these folks are trying to make money after all.

Well, it's kinda sad seeing JN.C changing, it was my fav site for a very long time. I guess it can't be helped though...

Anyways, the Darth Vader USB stick gave me an idea that really makes me wonder why nobody thought of it before. Why don't they make a HOLOCRON flash memory?? I mean a holocron is supposed to store data anyway, so why not make a USB stick edition that looks like a real holocron but with a USB plug that pops out? I think it would sell like crazy.

This is almost super cool ... seriously, though, what's with the ears? Ahh, now that I see their other designs, it's just laziness.
Speaking of crosses between Star Wars & tech geekiness, my fav is something a friend found for me in Japan. It's a Vader helmet cell phone strap with eyes that flash at incoming calls. Alas my phone isn't GSM, so I can't enjoy that particular benefit at the moment.
