Life Size Jabba on eBay

What is thy bidding? Here’s something I figured there would never be a market for. There’s a life size Jabba the Hutt replica on eBay. And it’s up for sale if you want it. Just imagine: you might know that laugh, but soon you’ll get to know everything else about that slimy piece of worm-ridden filth. In fact, you might even learn to appreciate it.

Currently, the asking price for this beauty is about $13,000. That’s a pretty steep price, but then again I’m surprised the current owner was even willing to make a bargain. I figured he wouldn’t want to give up his favorite decoration, and liked the vile gangster where he was.

Your Special Edition

In your Star Wars ‘verse, Han shoots first. With these bookends, you can make sure that he always will. This is very awesome and I would love to have one of these, although it is a bit too rich for my blood. Of course, if you’re shelling out the wupi-wupi for the original versions on DVD to add to your collection of Special Edition DVDs, VHS and laserdiscs, you probably won’t mind the extra expense.

Darth Vader USB Flash Drive

Ignore the Ewok ears, this is one intimidating presence on your computer desk. Too bad the USB plug doesn’t have the trademark scars, or reveal the face of Hayden Christiansen, looking conflicted. So, is $80 for one gig of this worth it? Sure, you can save your files in it and then re-enact scenes from ESB or ROTS while putting Vader’s mask back on, but don’t we all still do that with our imaginations anyway?

This one’s from Gizmodo in case you missed it recently. There’s actually quite a bit of wacky Star Wars related toys, gadgets, and merchandise out there. You may see a few more posts  highlighting some of those items here soon.

Note to Mimoco’s R&D department: if you can add breath mask sound effects and an occasional Imperial March, this thing will sell. Fast.
