This Labor Day Weekend is going to be your last chance to complete your McDonald’s Clone Wars collection. I was fortunate enough to get my hands on most of it, and I have posted a picture gallery of them. The only one missing is Asajj Ventress, so I’ll be running out to McD’s sometime soon. As you can see, some of these are pretty good. But for the most part, they are great for the kiddies … much like the Clone Wars movie.

For the record, I really wanted an Admiral Ackbar bobblehead with “It’s a trap!” sound effects. That would have been awesome. But for now this is good enough.

So here are pictures. Enjoy!

As you go about your day tomorrow, you might want to pick up one of the four Clone Wars themed TV Guide issues. And it’s not just for collection’s sake. Included in these issues is an exclusive CD-ROM with goodies. I’m not sure exactly what’s in it, but I bet it’s not 3 months of free AOL …

Anyway, to help you pick and choose, here are the four covers you’ll be seeing at news stands all across America:

Thanks to Lauren Washington for the heads up! For more on TV Guide’s coverage of Clone Wars, visit their site.

At first glance, this is a vast array of pixelized Star Wars character icons. An impressive array of icons. By the way, before you think to commit right-click larceny, there’s no readily apparent way to steal these icons, short of taking a screen-shot ad tedium. But that’s not the point of this article.

The point is, once you dig in deeper, go between the pixels, you make the find. Joshua Budich has an uber-Star Wars collection, and he’s presenting them in style as only a web-design rockstar could. Plus, he tells you why he has such a collection.

Check it out.
