From Gizmodo:

“Andy Woerner and his crazy rocketeer friends have built a 21-foot long X-Wing model that can actually fly. Yes, this is a real X-Wing powered by four solid-fuel rocket engines complete with radio-controlled moving wings. It blasts off in California next week, and we talked with Andy about the project, and how they expect it will do.”

Check out the pictures and read about the project. Very interesting read.

Filed under: Collecting — Trilogist at 6:17 pm on Monday, October 1, 2007

At first glance, this is a vast array of pixelized Star Wars character icons. An impressive array of icons. By the way, before you think to commit right-click larceny, there’s no readily apparent way to steal these icons, short of taking a screen-shot ad tedium. But that’s not the point of this article.

The point is, once you dig in deeper, go between the pixels, you make the find. Joshua Budich has an uber-Star Wars collection, and he’s presenting them in style as only a web-design rockstar could. Plus, he tells you why he has such a collection.

Check it out.
