Star Wars Rocks! Music Download

Found this while taking a brisk stroll through the wild, wild net. It’s Star Wars. It’s rock. It therefore qualifies as double awesome. You can download the mp3s for this band named Twin Sister (formerly known as Boba Phett).

Yeah. I know. Since I have a soft spot for growling guitars, I admit to liking this enough to load it up on my iPod. There needs to be more stuff like this. After all, if Harry Potter fans can have wizard rock, why can’t we have … whatever we would call this? Death star metal, maybe.

Star Wars on the Wii … I want this.

*sigh* I want a Wii so bad. This is obviously not an actual Star Wars Wii game … but it’s still pretty compelling. It would be awesome to use Force powers using your wiimote or the nunchuck (is that what it’s called?)

Video: Stabbing at Leia’s 22nd Birthday

From Studio8:

This is a short video we helped produce for a good buddy of ours, the budding Hollywood director known as Josh Trank. Now before we get called nerds or homos or Trekkies or whatever slanderings your angry, pea-sized brain can muster, take note of this: This is not a Star Wars fan film, nor is it yet another lazy, trite parody of George Lucas’ bloated and timeless masterpieces. Instead, watch it as a nutty little typical drunk frat boy college party fight video that just happens to have dorky-ass lightsabers in it.

Nonetheless, pretty entertaining stuff. Check it out. Warning: video contains some explicit language, so turn down the volume, kids. And any of you watching this at work … shame on you.

It’s a blessing in disguise because we’re very proud to announce that this October, Heythrop Park Hotel in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire will host the Cult TV Weekender 2007. All the pertinent details can be found at our website – www.cult.tv, including the announcement of two new guests who will be joining the legendary Antonio Fargas from Starsky and Hutch. The first is Ike Eisenmann, perhaps best known for his appearances on The Fantastic Journey and Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. The second new guest is the delectable Stephanie Waring, star of Hollyoaks, along with noteable appearances in Nice Guy Eddie, Mersey Beat and Holby City.
